ECO TIPS
| Surf the internet with Eco Google, this will allow you to save energy of your computer. | |
| Never throw away used batteries; a single one can be critical for the environment, We recommend taking them to a special disposal center. | |
| Please never throw away your used cooking oil (or food) through the sink as it is poisonous to the water, specially oceans and sea life. | |
|
We encourage you to valorize water resources, think about your water waste and improve your consumption as it is vital, healthy and regenerating for your body. Also, we suggest taking shorter showers. |
|
|
Your toilet is not a trash can, each flush uses approximately 5 gallons of water. If you are going to use a hose to wash your car, turn it off while soaping it. We recommend is not using the hose at all; just fill a big bucket with water or go to a car wash. |
|
| Practice walking and excercising! Ride a bike to work whenever it’s possible. If you can’t, carpooling is a nice option too. | |
| Limit your personal energy use, including air conditioning and hot water. Also, turn off all lights and water taps when you leave home. | |
| Choose biodegradable products so that the chemicals have a lower negative impact on the soil and water system. | |
| Use organic compost to improve soil health and eliminate the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. | |
| Turn off and unplug electric equipment like televisions, radio or computers when you're not using them. Even when they aren’t turned on, these devices are still using energy. |
Remember the three R’s… Reduce (your consumption), Reuse (your products) and Recycle. Please always think of ways to conserve energy and water in your home, at work or at any daily activity.
