Ecotourism means responsible travel throughout your journey visiting natural protected areas like Machu Picchu that works on conserving the environment and improving the well-being of local people.

Cruz Inca works in the following areas and actions:

• Raise sensitivity to travelers about the importance of nature and offer the lowest carbon footprints journeys.
  
  
• Providing financial benefits, management training, job opportunities, well-being and empowering local people.
  
  
• Minimizing impact in all car and bus transportation with a reduction of the 95% negative emissions of gasoline.
  
  
• As we are always renewing all our camping gear and equipment, we never throw away them but instead, we donate tents, mattresses and others to many disadvantage communities.
  
  
• We only use rechargeable batteries for all our equipment and also encourage responsible travelers to do the same. We teach the importance of never throwing used batteries as we understand how critical the impact on nature is.
