The Cruz Inca Foundation

The Cruz Inca Foundation was founded on 2006 with the mission to create synergies to provide support in different destinations throughout Peru, helping local people and the environment.

 

Our mission is to create synergies to deliver high impact actions of support to people and nature.

The word synergy means the union of forces to achieve a greater goal.

 

The Cruz Inca Foundation is funded thanks to the contribution of a percentage of the price from every travel program sold and operated by Cruz Inca: Ecotourism Travel Agency.

 

 

We accept all kinds of donations but we do not accept monetary contributions.

The Inca Cross
With the goal of helping local artisans from Cuzco, we promote the ancient creation process of the famous Cruz Inca stones or Inca Crosses. By doing this, we want to turn the cross into a symbol of responsible travel and community support around the world.

Support Women Artisans
We support women artisans from Cuzco and Ayacucho by promoting their Andean handcrafts through a strategic alliance with Shopping for a Change ™ (a non-profit organization from California) and creating synergies with the artisans.

End the cold in the highlands
We are committed to end the consequences of cold weather in the highlands, focusing on children and elders, we send blankets and warm clothing to battle the freezing weather of the Andes during the winter months.

Improve local schools
We work on improving schools located in the destinations we work with. We provide materials such as textbooks, notebooks and computers while educating them on social and environmental responsibility.

Recycle programs
As a company dedicated to Ecotourism, recycling is very important for us. We have a recycle policy and are members of the “Reciclame” organization, which promotes recycling in other companies and schools by arranging activities such as street cleaning.
