Considered to be the most amazing trekking route in the World, it offers a variety of scenery, many staggering views in such a mix of Jungle and high Sierra.


Day 1: Arrival to Lima

Arrival to the city of Lima. You will be welcomed at the Airport by your travel consultant. Transportation in a comfortable van to your hotel in Lima.

At your hotel, you will receive a briefing from me and your Travel Consultant to the experience and a Welcome Kit that includes your Travel Itinerary with the complete information you need for your experience in Peru and more information of references and recommendations.

The rest of the day is free to enjoy Lima at your own pace. We recommend walking with your travel consultant to Larcomar, a nice and modern ocean-view touristic mall to the Pacific Ocean.

Night at the Hotel in Lima.


Day 2: Arrival to Cuzco

Transportation to Lima’s Airport to take your flight to the city of Cuzco. The morning will be free to acclimatize. It is recommended that you relax and rest to become accustomed to the altitude. As part of the acclimatizing process, we recommend to take it easy this day with an introductory walk around the city.

Drinking coca tea at your hotel and restaurants is highly recom mended to acclimatize to the altitude, you will feel the difference.

In the afternoon, you can take an optional tour to Sacsayhuaman Fortress, which overlooks the city of Cuzco with its impressive beauty and monumental scale.

Return to your hotel to relax and rest. Night at the Hotel in Cuzco city.

Day 3: The Sacred Valley of the Incas

Breakfast in your hotel. Transportation and tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas where you’ll visit the Andean Camelid Park where you will learn about the 4 different species of Andean Camelids of South America and ancient weaving techniques.

Later, you will visit the Pisac Market a picturesque Andean Village known for its market that retains its local charm, where villagers from miles around gather to barter and sell their products and for its impressive archaeological remains.

Transportation to the hotel at the Sacred Valley to relax and rest.

Day 4: Inca Trail - Wayllabamba

Transportation from the hotel to the KM 82. The Trail begins with a 3 hour walk by the side of the Urubamba River arriving to Patallacta, an amazing archaeological site surrounded by nature. From there, the trail leaves the side of the Urubamba to follow the Kusichaca River to the camping site of Wayllabamba.

Day 5: Inca Trail - Pacaymayo

After having a good breakfast, the walk starts to the Crossing of Warmihuañusca, where you can witness the road that will lead you to the Runkuranay Ruins. After this crossing you’ll reach Pacaymayo where the second camp will be assemble.

Day 6: Inca Trail - Wiñaywayna

After a good breakfast, you’ll head to the circular ruins of Runkurakay. After a break, you’ll start to descend through a well preserved trail to the stairs that lead to the Sayacmarca Ruins. At this point, the trail goes into the cloud forest passing through a series of natural tunnels adapted by the Incas.

After a long trek, you’ll reach the Wiñaywayna, one of the most important ruins in the road to Machu Picchu and your last campsite.

Day 7: Inca Trail - Machu Picchu

Coming down from Wiñaywayna, the walk continues through the semi-tropical forest to reach the Intipunku or Sun’s Gate, where you’ll have a panoramic view of the Sanctuary.

In Machu Picchu you will have a guided tour of this marvelous citadel. You’ll visit the main plaza, the royal quarters, the Temple of Three Windows, the circular tower and the sacred Sun Dial.

We recommend hiking the Sacred Mountain Wayna Picchu, your guide will explain this activity during the briefing to the Machu Picchu experience and it will also be detailed on your travel itinerary.

Transport to the station to take your Vistadome first class train back to Cusco city.

Arrival and transportation to the hotel in Cusco to spend the night.

Day 8: Return to Lima

Transportation to Cusco’s airport to take your flight back to Lima city.
