While doing their regular preservation works in Huaca Velarde (one of the cities of Chan Chan), a group of archaeologists found by accident a wall with frisks of the legendary Chimu culture. This 20 meters long – 1.5 meters high wall shows typical images of that great pre-Hispanic civilization such as totora horses, anthropomorphic birds, pelicans, crabs, among others.
