One of the best train routes in the world

The American television network NBC has recently made a survey to determine which are the top ten most spectacular train trips of the world and awarded the Hiram Bingham Train the 7th place. The Hiram Bingham route, that lasts approximately three hours, stars in the outskirts of the Imperial City of Cusco and reaches the town of Aguas Calientes, located below the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. During the trip, this luxury train travels across the Sacred Valley of the Incas, along the Urubamba River and below the imposing white peaks of the Andes, and counts with a special service that includes gourmet dinners, on-board shows and traditional drinks. In addition, it has a panoramic cabin on the back, which allows the passengers to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
