Yumbilla, the world’s fifth tallest waterfall

Specialists of the National Institute of Geography have recently confirmed that Yumbilla (870 meters tall), in Amazonas, with its three great drops, is the fifth tallest waterfall of the world, placing the Gocta Waterfalls , also in Amazonas and with two drops, in the sixteenth position.

According to the World Waterfalls Database (WWD), Peru also has the world’s third tallest waterfall, located in Ayacucho, the Three Sisters Waterfall, almost 100 meters tall. The WWD has also named Gocta Waterfall on the Top 10 of the World’s 100 Best Waterfalls.
