| Day 1: Arrival to Cuzco
Transportation to Lima’s Airport to take your flight to the city of Cuzco (3,310 m - 10,859 ft).
The morning will be free to acclimatize. It is recommended that you relax and rest to become accustomed to the altitude. As part of the acclimatizing process, we recommend to take it easy this day with an introductory walk around the city.
Drinking coca tea at your hotel and restaurants is highly recommended to acclimatize to the altitude, you will feel the difference.
In the afternoon, you will have a walking visit to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, which overlooks the city of Cuzco with its impressive beauty and monumental scale.
Return to your hotel to relax and rest.

Day 2: The Sacred Valley of the Incas
Transportation and tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas (2,400 m - 9,000 ft) where you’ll visit the Andean Camelid Park where you will learn about the 4 different species of Andean Camelids of South America and ancient weaving techniques.
Later, you will visit the Pisac Market a picturesque Andean Village known for its market that retains its local charm, where villagers from miles around gather to barter and sell their products.

Day 3: The Inca Trail - Machu Picchu
In the morning, transportation to the Ollantaytambo Station to board your Vistadome train to the 104 km with your guide. From here, you will start the trekking to the well preserved archaeological remains of Wiñay Wayna (2,650 m - 8,690 ft).
The Inca Trail continues to the Inti Punku or Sun Gate, the entrance to the Sanctuary. After a short guided tour of Machu Picchu (2,430 m - 7,970 ft) you will continue the trekking to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Arrival to the hotel, a mountain refuge that for its location it gives an authentic eco experience in a place surrounded by nature. Considered among the 100 best hotels and the 4 best ecological hotels in the world.
The rest of the day is free to enjoy and relax at your wonderful hotel doing some of the eco-activities it offers.

Day 4: Machu Picchu, a Lifetime Experience
Early morning walk to the station to take a bus (15 minutes ride) to Machu Picchu Sanctuary with your guide.
In Machu Picchu you will have a guided tour of this marvelous citadel. You’ll visit the main plaza, the royal quarters, the Temple of Three Windows, the circular tower and the sacred Sun Dial.
We recommend hiking the Sacred Mountain Wayna Picchu, your guide will explain this activity during the briefing to the Machu Picchu experience and it will also be detailed on your travel itinerary.
Transport to the station to take your Vistadome first class train back to Cuzco city.

Day 5: Road trip to Puno
Early transfer to the Cusco station for a First Class bus to Puno. Different tour stops will be made along the way.
For this first day in Puno, Cruz Inca recommends to have a relaxing walk through its streets and plazas.
Day 6: Uros Floating Islands & Taquile Island
Transportation to the port to begin the Titicaca Lake Experience. Visits to the Floating Island of the Uros, made entirely out of totora and to the colorful and picturesque Taquile Island.
Once the activities are over, return to your hotel to relax and rest.
Day 7: Return to Lima
Transportation to Puno’s Airport to take your flight back to the city of Lima.
